LEARN HOW TO ENHANCE EFFICIENCY AND PROFITABILITY OF GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANTS AT INDONESIA INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION

Developing a new steam field poses many challenges, which are time-consuming, costly, require a significant amount of equity, present mineral risk, as well as environmental and regulatory issues.

Existing steam fields frequently use single flash, steam turbine based power plants to produce electricity. Although efficient and reliable, a significant part of the total thermal capacity is lost in the reinjected hot brine at the end of the separation process.

The good news is that is possible to safely and efficiently recover the energy contained in the brine, which would be otherwise wasted and add approximately 50% of the steam field rated electrical power output thanks to the Exergy GEX organic rankine cycle binary plant, based on its patented Radial Outflow Turbine technology (ROT). This will be the topic of a paper EXERGY will present at the upcoming Indonesia International Convention and Exhibition that will take place from 12th to 12th August  at the Jakarta Convention Center, in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Dario Mulazzani, EXERGY's sales manager for China and Far East will present a case study to demonstrate how much power can be recovered from the brine stream coming out of a separator vessel of a hypothetical single flash steam plant by applying a EXERGY organic rankine cycle binary plant.

Join us at the Indonesia International Convention and Exhibition. Attend Dario Mulazzani's presentation on day 2 "Exergy Geothermal Combined Cycle (ExGCC) power plant for liquid dominated reservoir" and visit us at our booth C11 to learn more about EXERGY's solutions to increase productivity and efficiency of your geothermal power plant.
